You know those lightbulb moments you get in life—the kind where everything just clicks and you finally understand why you’ve always been drawn to something? This is one of mine. Colour has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Not just because it looks nice, but because it feels like home.
I’ve always known that colour wasn’t just something we see—it's something we absorb. Something we feel. And when I discovered chromotherapy, it finally joined up all the dots.
So… What is Chromotherapy?
Chromotherapy (also known as colour therapy) is the practice of using colour to influence your physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing. It’s not new—far from it. Ancient cultures across the world used colour as a healing tool for thousands of years. And science is finally catching up to what our souls already know: colour has power.
Each colour carries its own unique vibration and frequency. When we interact with colour—whether we’re wearing it, eating it, sitting in a room filled with it, or even visualising it—it interacts with our energy system. It can lift us, calm us, ground us, or re-energise us. It can help us feel seen. It can help us feel again.
How It All Fell Into Place
The more I learned about chromotherapy, the more I realised something: colour had been guiding me all along. I just hadn’t had the language for it.
That craving for green when I’m feeling anxious? Heart chakra calling.
That sudden pull towards yellow after a tough week? My solar plexus needs some joy.
That urge to paint my workspace soft blue? My mind’s asking for clarity and calm.
And it’s not just about clothes (although yes, colour in your wardrobe is magic). I now prescribe colour across every part of life—your home, your food, your branding, even your thought patterns. The colours we surround ourselves with influence how we feel, how we show up, and how we heal.

Now, I’m absolutely thrilled to be bringing this ancient practice bang up to date through ChroME—my own soulful approach to colour-as-wellbeing.
